We are looking for a driven Sales Agent to build relationships with companies nationwide and help them solve their hiring challenges.
The Role
As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for prospecting and securing new corporate clients across all provinces and territories (BC to NL). You will sell our recruitment and staffing services to businesses of all sizes—from startups to enterprise-level organizations. Your income is directly tied to your success: you earn a percentage of every contract you close.
Responsibilities
- Identify and contact decision-makers (HR Directors, Owners, General Managers) at companies across Canada via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and networking.
- Present the agency’s value proposition: faster hiring, pre-screened candidates, and reduced time-to-fill.
- Negotiate and close contracts for permanent placement fees and/or temporary staffing agreements.
- Maintain a pipeline of leads and track outreach using a CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar).
- Collaborate with our recruitment team to ensure client expectations are met post-sale.
- Stay informed about Canadian labor market trends and regional hiring demands.
Skills
- Self-motivated and disciplined to work remotely from anywhere in Canada.
- Excellent English communication skills (French is a strong asset for Quebec outreach).
- Previous sales experience (B2B, staffing, recruitment, HR tech, or similar preferred).
- Familiarity with cold outreach and objection handling.
- Basic understanding of employment standards or recruitment processes is a plus, but not mandatory – we provide training on our service.
Payment terms: Contract basis or percentage.
