Job Responsibilities:
- Install, remove, and replace network hardware including servers, switches, routers, firewalls, UPS, and other data center equipment
- Perform rack & stack activities: mount equipment in racks, ensure proper U-positioning, weight distribution, and airflow
- Execute structured and fiber optic cable management with proper labeling and routing
- Decommission faulty hardware and commission replacement hardware as per BOM/work order
- Connect via console and perform basic POST checks, BIOS/firmware verification, and config file upload as provided by remote team
- Verify port status, link up/down, VLAN, and trunk configuration post-installation
- Capture before/after photos, update asset tags, serial numbers, and complete site documentation/MRC
- Coordinate with remote NOC/Project team during implementation and troubleshooting
- Comply with data center safety, change management, and access control procedures
