Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our construction and renovation team. We specialize in full interior and exterior renovations, as well as custom decks and outdoor structures. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial carpentry, with proficiency in a variety of skills including blueprint reading, restoration, cabinet installation, and more. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of working independently or as part of a team to deliver high-quality craftsmanship on diverse projects. Candidates should possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of tasks.
Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to plan projects effectively
- Construct, install, repair, and restore structures such as framing, cabinetry, flooring, siding, roofing, and drywall
- Operate hand tools, power tools,
- Measure and cut materials accurately using appropriate tools for various projects
- Assist with construction estimating to determine project costs and timelines
- Install plumbing and electrical components when necessary, collaborating with specialists as needed
- Apply finishing techniques such as painting, caulking, and sanding for quality presentation
- Handle heavy lifting safely while maintaining adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout each project phase
- Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining high standards of quality
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields such as full interior and exterior renovations
- Skilled in blueprint reading and schematics interpretation
- Hands-on experience with, siding installation, soffit facia and restoration projects
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and other construction equipment
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is preferred
- Familiarity with plumbing and electrical systems is a plus
- Prior handyman experience or experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
