We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Loss Prevention Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our assets, preventing theft, and ensuring a secure environment for both employees and customers. This position requires keen observational skills, a strong understanding of loss prevention techniques, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Duties
- Monitor surveillance systems, including CCTV, to identify suspicious activities or behaviors.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to deter theft and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to report incidents or assist in investigations.
- Document and report incidents of theft, vandalism, or other security breaches accurately and promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a secure environment.
- Train staff on loss prevention strategies and best practices to minimize risk.
- Assist in developing and implementing loss prevention policies and procedures.
Experience
- Previous experience in law enforcement or security is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems and CCTV operation is advantageous.
- Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies is a plus.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long periods of monitoring.
