As a Lease and Finance Portfolio Manager, a typical day might include the following:
- Analyzing the current lease and finance portfolios to identify opportunities for renewing customers into another contract
- Contacting guests prior to lease-end or contract maturity in order to schedule a vehicle inspection of their vehicles
- Working in conjunction with Product Advisors to review any specific questions, concerns or special requests guests may have about entering into a new contract
- Completes paperwork necessary for vehicle sales and leases in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the Lease and Finance portfolio, including accounts with Toyota Financial Services and other partnered financial institutions
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the portfolio to support strategic decision-making and improve financial performance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure alignment on portfolio objectives, performance metrics, and process improvements
- Provides customers with a complete explanation of manufacturer and dealership service procedures and policies
- Calls and coordinates with customers to explain leasing services and renewals
- Maintains customer and company confidence by keeping information confidential and secure
- Working in conjunction with Sales Managers during the vehicle appraisal process
- Presenting lease renewal options to customers
- Coach and support the sales team on the value of leasing, promoting best practices to drive lease penetration and customer retention
- Work hand in hand with the Sales Management Team to actively improve Lease business, Lease renewal and also the successful procurement of trade vehicles for the pre-owned inventory
- Performs other duties as required
This job might be right for you if you have:
- You have a minimum 2-5 years of direct work experience in a sales position within the Automotive Industry and have demonstrated the ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining the established sales quotas
- You have obtained your OMVIC certification in addition to a valid Ontario driver’s license
- You are self-motivated and driven. You volunteer for new challenges and responsibilities, all while maintaining high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
- You have a passion for customer service. You use your strong communication skills to develop buyers by building and maintaining rapport with customers
