Job Overview
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team.
The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services.
This role involves effectively communicating with customers, understanding their automotive needs, and coordinating with our service technicians to ensure quality service delivery.
Experience in a fast paced, multi tasked environment. Mechanical knowledge, and excellent customer service skills are essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a positive rapport.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues and service requests.
- Provide detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs, ensuring customer understanding.
- Prepare and review repair orders, estimating costs and timeframes for services.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
- Upsell additional maintenance or repair services that benefit the customer’s vehicle health while meeting sales goals.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further needs.
- Maintain organized records of service visits, customer interactions, and sales activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a dealership environment is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or mechanic experience is highly advantageous for understanding vehicle repairs and communicating effectively with technicians.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Proven sales ability with experience in upselling automotive services or products.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly explain technical information to customers.
- Cash handling experience ensuring accuracy during transactions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- Automotive repair knowledge is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Pay all vendors monthly, including PST, quarterly WCB and more. Book keeping experience would be an asset.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
