Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and safety‑focused Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. Successful candidates will operate a range of equipment including excavators/hoes, dozers, skid steers, and motor scrapers on various earthworks and construction projects.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with site requirements.
- Perform excavation, grading, backfilling, material handling, and site prep.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and environmental guidelines.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors and crew members to meet project timelines.
- Maintain clean, organized, and well‑kept equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating Hoe/Dozer, Skid Steer, or Motor Scraper.
- Valid operator certifications and tickets (if applicable).
- Strong understanding of site safety and ground disturbance practices.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Class 5 driver’s licence.
