Evolution Wheel has been consistently releasing new products to market and we are looking for an inside construction sales expert to further accelerate the successes we have already experienced. The Inside Construction Equipment Sales Representative is the single point of contact between Evolution Wheel and the customer. The ideal candidate is a competitive self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales. As a sales representative, you provide product support while building positive relationships with customers to achieve individual and company goals.
As an Inside Construction Equipment Sales Representative, you will have access to a customer database and new leads coming in daily. Supported by a digital marketing strategy that includes Google Ads, social media channels, a well-ranking website, and YouTube channel. You can expect a consistent feed of customers to prospect and develop.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Re-establish, qualify, and maintain contact with small to medium-sized customers to increase repeat business
- Plan customer repeat purchase timelines based on customer conversations and scheduling follow ups
- Proactively generate sales by offering recommendations to inbound leads and following up with them using a structured sales process
- Determine customer requirements through needs analysis and provide solutions/recommendations
- Maintain sales CRM system ensuring timely and accurate sales information is provided
- Administer sales processes and systems including weekly call plans, emails, quotes, call reports and other duties. Average of 70 calls and 30 emails per day.
- Attend tradeshows to promote product line and generate new leads
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years’ experience in a sales environment
- Technical/mechanical knowledge of Skid Steers, Telehandlers, Wheel Loaders, Motor Graders, Loader Backhoes and Aerial Lifts
- Post-Secondary Education and a technical or business background is a plus
- Construction/mining equipment market knowledge and/or practical experience with equipment
- Experience following a sales process and using a CRM to schedule sales activity
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills using phone and email
- Highly organized with proven analytical aptitude, attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Self-motivated, independent and a team player with strong initiative and mindset for continuous improvement
- Computer and systems literate with high proficiencies with Excel and Word
- Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus
- Natural curiosity and a desire to learn, grow and develop your skillset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
