Since entering the North American market, Liuyishou has continued to expand through restaurant operations, food production, brand development, and new dining concepts.
We are looking for a Communications & Public Relations Manager to support the company’s internal and external communication needs. This role will be responsible for developing clear and consistent company messaging, drafting executive speeches and external statements, supporting public relations initiatives, and improving communication across departments, regional teams, and restaurant locations.
This position is ideal for someone with strong writing skills, sound judgment, and the ability to translate business needs into professional, audience-appropriate communication materials.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain clear, consistent company messaging for both internal and external communications.
- Draft executive speeches, public statements, press releases, company announcements, internal notices, letters, presentation scripts, and other communication materials.
- Support internal communication between head office, departments, regional teams, and restaurant locations.
- Work closely with leadership to prepare talking points, Q&A documents, communication plans, and key messages for major projects.
- Assist with public relations activities, including media communication, community relations, brand events, and external partnership messaging.
- Monitor public feedback, media coverage, online reviews, and social media discussions related to the company and its brands.
- Support crisis communication by preparing response drafts, internal updates, and external messaging under management guidance.
- Ensure all communication materials are professional, culturally appropriate, and aligned with the company’s brand image.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, Business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in communications, public relations, corporate communications, media, marketing communications, or a related role.
- Strong English writing skills, with the ability to draft professional speeches, statements, announcements, and business documents.
- Strong understanding of both internal communication and external public-facing communication.
- Ability to work with senior management and translate business needs into clear and appropriate communication materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong storytelling, message development, and editing abilities.
- Strong sense of judgment, confidentiality, and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to write in different tones, including formal, executive, public-facing, internal, and employee-friendly styles.
- Strong coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple communication tasks under deadlines.
- Experience in restaurant, hospitality, food and beverage, retail, franchise, or multicultural business environments is preferred.
- Bilingual ability in English and Chinese is strongly preferred.
Pay: $65,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
