Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking breakfast items in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring high-quality food service for our guests. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to standardized recipes and presentation standards
- Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, mixing, and assembling ingredients for various breakfast items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Serve food promptly and courteously to guests or servers, ensuring timely delivery of orders
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs for restocking
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards in the food industry
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques specific to breakfast cuisine is a plus
- Experience with kitchen equipment operation and basic food industry practices is desirable
- Strong understanding of serving standards, food presentation, and customer service principles
