Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated cabinet maker / woodworker to join our construction and millwork team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry, and the use of various hand and power tools. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, including commercial and residential projects. Candidates should be comfortable building cabinets and building furniture. A solid understanding of schematics, blueprints, and shop drawings is essential for success in this position.
Duties
- Read blueprints and specifications before manufacturing or repairing cabinetry;
- Trace out the outline of pieces or mark dimensions on the wood;
- Cut accurately;
- Sand or repair;
- Assemble a complete cabinetry according to blueprints;
- Produce custom, high-end cabinetry;
- Inspect cabinetry for quality upon completion;
- Ability to interpret and visualize the final product from complex architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications;
- Match materials (color, grain, texture, etc.);
- Lamination;
- Knowledge of all hand tools and their uses;
- Ability to set up and operate saws, drills, shapers, and all other industrial machinery to cut, shape, and form parts.
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in woodworking, cabinet making
- Organized and punctual
- Have a positive team-oriented attitude and focus on problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Sound math and geometry skills to perform appropriate calculations.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
