Overview
We are seeking an experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our diverse fleet of vehicles and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of tractor & trailers systems. This role is vital in ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across all fleet assets. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor will coordinate maintenance schedules, supervise technicians, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Duties
- Supervise daily maintenance operations for all fleet vehicles
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
- Oversee repairs repairs, logistics, and completion of the units
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and inspections
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and service logs
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Assist in diagnosing complex mechanical issues using technical schematics and diagnostic tools
- Manage work schedules for maintenance staff and prioritize repair tasks based on operational needs
- Conduct quality control inspections to verify repairs meet company standards
Skills
- Extensive experience with dealership service environments maintenance
- Knowledge with Freightliners, Volvo, International, Peterbilt, and Kenworth parts
- Mechanical knowledge of automotive repair and power tools usage
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team of technicians effectively
- Strong customer service orientation when interacting with internal departments or external vendors
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when necessary
- Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus

Pay: $17.60-$22.00 per hour
