AMJ Cambridge is now accepting resumes for experienced and professional drivers to drive locally in company owned commercial trucks. (straight trucks(DZ class)
Our services include: household, commercial, special products, warehousing and home delivery.
We have opportunities for both part-time and full-time and we can help to make sure that you're home each night!
Requirements:
· Minimum of 21 years of age
· Clean driving record/CVOR, must be able to pass a background check and in-house road test
· Valid Class A, D or Class 1 drivers license with endorsements
· Minimum of one year of commercial (actual road time) truck driving experience, able to load, unload, pack or unpack all items with care and respect
· Maximum 3 demerit points
· Have safety shoes/boots
· Professional attitude and appearance
· Responsible and dependable
· Customer service focused
Job Description:
Complete full P.T.I. at start of each working day (typically 20-30 mins in duration). Provide safe, on-time, and dependable transportation with a safe driving record. Ensure your crew is prepped and ready to leave at an appropriate time to arrive at origin.
Properly prepare, pack and/or wrap customer belongings for move and load onto truck with care. Accompany AMJ movers and packers to transport and deliver customer belongings from origin to destination.
Responsible for assisting the client in moving the things in the area of relocation and placing these things to its appropriate places.
Arrange the large items into the storage crate or express vault.
Take legible, itemized inventories especially in moving the furniture to a long distant place and assure that there will be no defects and scratches in the load they are transporting.
Able to carefully and efficiently wrap and pack household goods to prevent damage while moving.
Movers are also tasked in cleaning up the areas at origin and destination and assuring that everything has been delivered in the exact location.
