Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures, ensuring precision and safety throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, and various construction techniques.
Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct building frameworks
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing components using hand tools and power tools
- Ensure all framing work meets safety standards and building codes
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks efficiently and maintain a clean work environment
- Conduct quality checks throughout the project to ensure structural integrity and adherence to design specifications
Skills
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics, and construction plans
- Strong knowledge of carpentry, woodworking
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, nail gun.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment
- Physical stamina to handle demanding work conditions over extended periods
