Position SummaryThe Guest Services Associate is the primary point of contact for all resort visitors, responsible for creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This role involves managing the entire guest lifecycle from registration to departure, ensuring all inquiries are handled efficiently and guest satisfaction remains our top priority.Service Standards

Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction: Greet guests upon arrival, providing professional front-desk services and making them feel welcomed.
Registration & Departure: Prepare necessary documents and keys for registration, assign rooms, and process guest departures by calculating charges and receiving payments.
Communication Management: Promptly and courteously attend to telephone calls and text messages, directing them as appropriate.
Reservation Services: Make, confirm, cancel, and change guest reservations as needed.
Information Services: Provide detailed information regarding resort facilities, services, and local points of interest in the surrounding area.
Guest Relations: Efficiently complete special requests and diffuse conflict or tense situations with guests in a professional manner.
Safety & Compliance: Follow all established emergency and safety procedures.
Team Support: Assist in the training of new team members and perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications & Skills
Eligibility: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Experience: Previous experience in an hotel environment, Front Desk or reception role is preferred.
Availability: Flexible availability is required, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the resort.
Technical Skills: Comfortable using reservation or booking systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) software, and Microsoft Office.
Core Competencies:
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for answering phones and interacting with guests.
- Proficiency in handling payments and cash accurately.
- Comfortable working independently when necessary.
Working Conditions
· Fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Weekend and holiday work required
· Hours anytime between 7am and 11pm
· Working independently and within a larger team
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
