Yoga Kawa is seeking a warm, professional, and skilled yoga instructor to join our studio teaching team.
Our classes are designed to cultivate both physical strength and inner calm through breath-centered movement, intentional pacing, and mindful awareness.
We are looking for teachers who can guide students with clarity, presence, and thoughtful instruction while delivering a consistent and welcoming studio experience.
Key Responsibilities
Lead yoga classes in alignment with Yoga Kawa’s class descriptions and teaching approach
Guide students through breath-centered movement and intentional pacing
Provide clear alignment cues, modifications, and safe progressions
Maintain a calm, welcoming, and professional class environment
Deliver a consistent Yoga Kawa experience across all classes
Begin and close classes according to studio structure (breathwork, meditation, OM)

Teachers are expected to guide students progressively toward physical strength with awareness rather than intensity alone.
Teaching Standards
At Yoga Kawa, teaching is more than demonstrating postures. Our instructors guide students through thoughtful sequencing, clear alignment cues, and breath-centered movement that supports both physical strength and nervous system balance.
We value teachers who prioritize student experience, safety, and meaningful instruction over performance or choreography.
Preferred Qualifications
RYT 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training certification minimum
2+ years teaching experience preferred
Yoga Alliance registration
Ability to teach one or more of the following styles:
Hatha Flow (must)
Vinyasa Flow (must)
Power Flow
Yin Yoga
Rocket Yoga
Animal Flow
Restorative
Pranayama (must)
Yoga Nidra
Meditation (must)
Sound Bath (preferred but not required)
Yogalates or Pilates-inspired movement (preferred)
