KCCA is seeking a responsible and enthusiastic Camp Coordinator to support our summer camp program focused on Korean language and cultural experiences for children and youth. The Camp Coordinator will help ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants.
Employment Period: July 6, 2026 - Aug 28, 2026
DEADLINE for submission: June 15, 2026
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating daily camp schedules and activities
- Support counsellors and supervise campers during programs and outings
- Help facilitate Korean language and cultural activities, games, and crafts
- Ensure camper safety and follow all camp safety procedures
- Assist with daily camper drop-off and pick-up procedures
- Communicate with staff and report to the Administrative Officer and Executive Director
- Promote a respectful and inclusive camp environment
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or youth in camps, schools, or recreational settings preferred
- Korean language skills and knowledge of Korean culture are required to some degree
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to work responsibly in a fast-paced environment
Canada Summer Jobs Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person granted refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
- Be legally entitled to work in Canada according to provincial legislation and regulations
- Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or a protected person with a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN). International students are not eligible.
International students are not eligible under the Canada Summer Jobs program.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
