Responsibilities:
- Greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Maintain accurate records of guest accounts and transactions
- Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure clean and ready rooms for incoming guests
- Assist with luggage storage and transportation arrangements
- Handle cash transactions and maintain a balanced cash drawer
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable
- Proficient in using front desk software systems
- Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes
- Problem-solving skills to address guest concerns effectively
