We are a property management company with several buildings in downtown Ottawa looking for a full-time handyperson to start immediately.
Major duties include drywall patch and repair, painting, flooring and trim installation, and kitchen/bathroom renovations.
Other duties include performing maintenance and repairs to apartments (kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, etc.); undertaking installation or carpentry (e.g. build cabinets, install new toilets); repair equipment or appliances; assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing, or HVAC repairs; undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. shovelling snow); identify and report the need for major repairs.
Should have experience working under pressure and with multiple deadlines. Having your own vehicle is a huge plus.
