We need food service experienced, hands-on managers who believe that the best way to lead is by working alongside the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Operational Excellence: Oversee daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and strict adherence to brand and safety standards.
- Team Leadership: Interview, train, and coach staff; set schedules and foster a positive, productive work environment.
- Hands-On Support: Step into any crew role during busy periods—from blending Blizzards to assisting at the counter—to keep operations moving smoothly.
- Administration: Manage POS transactions, cash handling/deposits, inventory levels, and supply ordering.
- Quality Control: Oversee food preparation / handling, maintain kitchen/dining cleanliness, comply with food safety regulations, and act as the primary lead for resolving guest concerns.
- Customer Service Experience: Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns.
Mandatory Requirements
- Travel for Training: Candidates must be available for a 4-week training program, split into two 2-week sessions (one week gap in between). Travel is required. (Paid)
- Online DQ Manager Exam Certification: Complete and pass the Dairy Queen Management Training Readiness Exam prior to attending in-person sessions. This covers Customer Focus, Planning and Organizing, Leadership, Decision-Making, and Financial Acumen/Business Math. (Paid)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a quick service restaurant (QSR) environment.
- Language: Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
- Availability: Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Additional Qualifications / Skills
- Supervisory experience in food service is a strong asset.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards. Food Safety Certification is preferred.
- Team management skills and demonstrated leadership qualities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, enthusiastic approach.
- Basic math skills and confidence handling cash transactions.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent customer service skills.

Pay: $18.25-$21.00 per hour
