Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Massage Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping clients achieve relaxation, pain relief, and improved mobility through professional massage therapy techniques. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to clients’ health journeys while working in a collaborative and client-centered setting.
Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy treatments tailored to individual client needs, including therapeutic, relaxation, and rehabilitative techniques.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ health history and current conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to enhance ongoing wellness.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation protocols and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the clinic to coordinate holistic patient care when necessary.
- Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education requirements to maintain licensure and professional growth.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy, physiology, and massage therapy practices.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a comfortable and trusting environment for clients.
- Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatment procedures, address client concerns, and provide wellness advice.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated organizational skills for managing appointments, documentation, and client records efficiently.
- Certification as a Registered Massage Therapist from an accredited licensing body is required; ongoing education is preferred.
