Job Summary
We are looking for a friendly, organized, and motivated Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our growing dental team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during procedures, help maintain a clean and safe clinical environment, and provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take and process dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and dental supplies
- Support front desk duties when needed, including scheduling and patient communication
- Maintain a positive and professional environment for patients and staff
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Certification preferred
- Previous dental assisting experience is an asset
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Experience with dental software such as Abeldent is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and customer service skills
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour
