Shop Technician
Innovex Canada ULC – Bonnyville, AB
- Pay: $21–$26/hour (based on experience) + overtime pay
- Schedule: 11 days on / 3 days off (rotation starts Mondays)
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (weekends as needed)

About the Role
Innovex Canada ULC is hiring a Shop Technician in Bonnyville, AB. In this role, you’ll be responsible for equipment assembly, repair, and maintenance while ensuring safety and quality standards are consistently met.
Responsibilities
- Disassemble, inspect, assemble, pressure test, and paint pressure-containing equipment.
- Repair and maintain valves (gate valves, plug valves, chokes, etc.).
- Maintain valve department equipment, including testing units, surface grinders, lapping tables, caustic tanks, and pressure washers.
- Assist with general shop duties: shipping/receiving, warehousing, customer property repair.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Collaborate with other divisions and branches.
- Accurately complete and submit required paperwork on time.
- Maintain a 90–100% safety compliance score.
- Support Innovex’s quality programs, procedures, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (required)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and commitment to safety
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly, bend, twist, kneel, squat, and stand for extended periods
- Willing to work outdoors in severe weather conditions when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Wellhead/frac equipment experience
- Gate valve knowledge or repair experience
- Forklift experience
- Overhead crane experience
