The role. We are seeking a full-time, permanent Reliability System Technician within our Reliability Department. The primary function of this position is to support the overarching goals of MPR’s Integrity Management Program and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) initiatives. This is achieved through the end-to-end administration of critical data environments, managing data for inspection workflows, condition monitoring data, and service logistics. By ensuring data accuracy, maintaining database architecture, and coordinating cross-functional information, this role empowers the Reliability Team to make informed, data-driven decisions that safeguard asset health and operational efficiency.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Input and Maintenance of data for within Visions database, including;
- Piping data entry and circuitization
- Boiler tube trending data entry
- Equipment CML set up and data entry
- Integrity Report creation
- Catalogue and attach inspection plans, reports, and photos
- Service Report creation
- Catalogue and attach service reports, quality control checklists
- Update SRV static data based on current valve in service
- RBI Creation
- Creation of work requests to maintain repair inventory on assets
- Catalogue and attach repair plans and Quality Turnover Packages
- Reconcile copies to the equipment file drive
- Generating Work Events
- Various report design, maintenance and generation
- Maintenance of static data
- Procedure development and maintenance
- General database maintenance and support
- Creation and management of the integrity War Rooms;
- Shutdown Inspections
- Non Shutdown Inspections
- SRV Servicing – SD and Non SD
- Maintenance Repair Tracking
- Support all aspects of the Integrity Management Program
- Coordinate SRV estimates, requisitions, purchase orders, transportation and logistics with vendor
- Review SRV PM’s and trigger them for the appropriate year based on technical data from inspectors and visions data
- Input and Maintenance of Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Department activities, including;
- Watchlist creation, maintenance and support
- BTA Analysis program data management
- Go Plant System Management
- Entity creation
- Task creation
- Round set up and management
- Implement operations and technician feedback for system maintenance and continuous improvement
- Troubleshooting and in-house support
- Liaise with SKF support and IT as required for software and hardware issues
- Generate reports to track progress for various work processes (Safety Relief Valves, Equipment Inspections, Non Conformance Reports, Vibration and Lubrication Compliance, etc.)
- Department and documentation updates for the Reliability Department Intranet page.
- Create, maintain and catalogue department procedures to maintain consistency of processes.
- Various tasks and duties required to support the mechanical maintenance department.
- Participate in and advocate for Mercer Road to Zero Initiatives.
- Additional duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent- copy of diploma or equivalent required.
- Preference for candidates with post secondary education in records management or a related integrity or asset management/coordination role.
