As part of a multidisciplinary health care team, the Oncology Nurse assesses, plans, provides and evaluates nursing care for assigned patients/clients in accordance with established policies, procedures and standards.
Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant; BC Cancer Systemic Therapy certification and two (2) years' recent, related experience. Basic Life Support, Level C. Certification in Oncology Nursing from The Canadian Nurses Associations (CNA) would be considered an asset.
