Job Summary
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and educational environment for young children, specifically older Toddlers and young preschool aged children. This role involves using an Emergent Curriculum/ FLIGHT to create learning experiences that meet the needs and development of this age group.
Duties
- Develop and implement activities and experiences using an Emergent Model or the Alberta preferred framework; FLIGHT
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages active participation and fosters curiosity among children.
- Communicating with both families and fellow educators in a professional and positive manner.
- Create and maintain an environment that is responsive to the needs and development of the children
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall experience.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current with early childhood education trends.
Qualifications
- Level 2 or 3 Certification from an accredited post-secondary school.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- A genuine passion for educating young children and fostering their growth in a supportive environment.
- Strong classroom and child guidance
- Ability to create programming using an authentic Emergent model or have education and training in FLIGHT
- Current First Aid in Child Care
- Criminal Background check that is less than 6 months old or the ability to get one

The successful candidate will need to have or be willing to obtain a Criminal Background Check no older than 6 months as well as current First Aid in Child Care.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
