Our client, a leading manufacturer specializing in military and consumer pyrotechnic devices, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be an integral part of the Quality Assurance/Quality Control department, supporting the company's commitment to continuous improvement and excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and a proactive approach to quality management, aligning successfully with the organization’s goals and values.
Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Prescott, ON
Pay Range: $20.14
Shift: Full Time (Days); 8-hour shift; 7 am – 3:30 pm
What's the Job?
- Perform execution testing and inspections following all standards to ensure product quality and safety
- Support safety and environmental protocols to maintain a secure workplace
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process
- Assist in maintaining compliance with chemical handling and PPE procedures
- Participate in team efforts to uphold high-quality production standards
What's Needed?
- Ability to walk long distances (up to 1 km) and stand for extended periods (up to 2 hours)
- Willingness to be mask fit tested and adhere to safety protocols
- Capability to work safely with chemicals and don/doff all PPE as required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
