Ace Enterprises Ltd is a 100% locally owned & operated construction company located in Yellowknife, NT. Established in 1994, we specialize in aggregates, asphalt and concrete, providing year-round services to Yellowknife and the surrounding area.
We are currently hiring various positions for our Paving Crew for the 2026 paving season. We are looking for individuals who have recent experience on a paving crew, who are punctual and reliable, have a positive attitude, and want to grow with our company. We offer competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, hourly salary is commensurate with experience. Please note, you must have experience working on a paving crew to be considered. Equipment operators not indicating the required years of experience working with asphalt will not be considered.
Successful candidates will be provided with travel assistance to and from Yellowknife as well as accommodations and LOA for the duration of the season.

- Paving equipment operators including Paver, Roller, Paving Operator
- Rakerman
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure safety is a top priority at all times
- Must be able to perform manual labour
- Operate paving equipment including rollers, graders, rollers and tampers in a safe and appropriate manner
- Perform daily maintenance and safety checks
- Report all incidents and near misses to direct supervisor
- Work with Paving Crew to prep ground, spread, smooth and level asphalt
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Experience operating paving equipment
- Willing and able to work in variable weather conditions
- Ability to work in standing, bending and walking position for long hours
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills both verbal and writtenExperience/qualifications:
- Minimum one (1) years' experience in paving equipment operation is required
