What You'll Do
- Surface preparation including sanding, patching, masking, and priming
- Apply coatings using brush, roller, and airless spray equipment
- Apply commercial and industrial coatings including epoxies, dryfall, and specialty finishes
- Operate scissor lifts, boom lifts, and swing stages safely
- Complete daily safety inspections and participate in toolbox talks
- Maintain quality workmanship and productivity standards
- Work with Team Leaders to complete projects safely, on schedule, and to a high standard
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
What We're Looking For
- Previous painting experience
- Experience using airless spray equipment
- Experience with commercial or industrial painting considered an asset
- Knowledge of epoxies, dryfall, and specialty coatings preferred
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Safety-conscious and dependable
- Valid driver's licence
- Ability to travel and occasionally work nights or stay out of town when required
- Requirement: This position requires employees to wear a respirator mask while performing certain job duties. Candidates must be able to safely wear and work in a respirator in accordance with workplace safety requirements.
