Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Food Truck Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving food, managing transactions, and ensuring a positive experience for all customers. Ideal candidates will have a passion for food service, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this role.
Duties
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards
- Operate POS systems, for order processing and cash handling
- Serve customers with professionalism and enthusiasm, upselling menu items when appropriate
- Manage cash transactions accurately and handle payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with food handling, storage, and inventory management
- Ensure timely service during busy periods through effective time management
- Uphold high standards of customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or food industry preferred but not mandatory
- Familiarity with food preparation and handling procedures
- Experience using POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety standards
- Kitchen experience or serving background is beneficial for understanding workflow and customer interactions

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
