Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented X-Ray Technologist to join our healthcare team. Duties:
- Operate X-ray equipment accurately to capture high-quality images as ordered by physicians.
- Follow prescribed protocols and safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
- Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, including patient information and imaging results.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and proper functioning of imaging equipment.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely and efficient diagnostic services.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper use of protective gear and radiation safety measures.
Qualifications
- Certification of Medical Radiologic Technologist
- CAMRT Registration
- Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for accurate documentation and communication.
- Strong attention to detail and technical proficiency in operating imaging equipment.
- Compassionate communication skills to support patients during procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy.
