Responsibilities
- Assist with construction site setup, preparation, and cleanup
- Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment
- Support carpentry, framing, drywall installation, and finishing activities
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Assist with flooring installation, tile work, painting, and general renovations
- Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks
- Perform material handling and heavy lifting as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures and company standards
Qualifications
- Previous construction, renovation, or general labour experience is an asset
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including heavy lifting
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation to various job sites is an asset
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset
