We are looking for an experienced Accounting & Payroll Administrator who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, accountability, and exceptional customer service.
Your Opportunity
As a key member of our finance team, you will play an essential role in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting and payroll functions while supporting the organization's mission.
Accounts Receivable
- Process customer invoices and record payments accurately.
- Complete bank reconciliations and online banking transactions.
- Monitor outstanding accounts and proactively follow up on collections.
- Build positive relationships with customers and respond to inquiries professionally.
- Maintain customer records and prepare aging and receivable reports.
- Work collaboratively with operations to resolve billing questions.
Accounts Payable
- Process vendor invoices accurately and on time.
- Match purchase orders and invoices while ensuring proper coding.
- Complete credit card reconciliations and coordinate cheque and EFT payments.
- Prepare cost tracking and variance reports.
- Maintain recurring payments and assist with month-end and year-end accruals.
- Investigate and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies while continually improving processes.
Payroll
- Manage full-cycle payroll with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
- Administer payroll in compliance with provincial and federal legislation.
- Process vacation pay, statutory holiday pay, benefits, taxable benefits, and deductions.
- Prepare Records of Employment (ROEs) and maintain employee payroll files.
- Support new employee onboarding documentation and payroll administration.
What You Bring
- Diploma or certification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Bookkeeping.
- 4–5 years of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience.
- 5+ years of payroll experience with a strong understanding of payroll legislation.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Advanced attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer service.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and accounting software.
Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
