Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 2 Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will support clinical operations, provide exceptional patient care, and assist with various dental procedures. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in compliance with infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics
- Manage patient records using Cleardent dental software.
- Take and develop dental radiographs, including CAD imaging when necessary
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Support front desk activities as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and materials used
- Ensure a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment at all times
Experience
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant at Level 2
- Familiarity with dental software platforms is highly desirable
- Experience assisting with orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
- Prior exposure to CAD imaging or digital dentistry tools is advantageous
- Certification in Dental Assisting required; additional training in orthodontics or pediatrics is preferred
- Strong communication skills suitable for interacting with patients of all ages, including children
