We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Yard Labourer & Site Support to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to learn all aspects of the fuel delivery industry while working closely with our Operations, Dispatch, and Maintenance teams. Responsibilities
Yard:
- Conduct regular fuel inventory counts using our handheld devices to ensure fuel transfers are accurately recorded and tracked.
- Transfer and load fuel between storage tanks and delivery trucks.
- Monitor inventory and restock yard and truck supplies as needed.
- Clean and maintain company vehicles, equipment, yard areas, and office spaces.
- Ensure the yard remains organized, safe, and free of hazards.
- Pick up parts, tools, and supplies as required.
- Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory.
- Scan, file, and maintain company documents and records.
- Perform general labour duties to support daily operations.
- Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and ongoing safety initiatives.
Site Support:
- When required, assist with fuel deliveries by safely operating one of our smaller delivery truck units to support drivers and operational needs.
- Accurately complete delivery documentation and electronic records using our handheld devices.
- Follow route schedules, customer requirements, and company procedures.
- Assist drivers on larger projects and job sites as needed.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service while representing LG Fuels.
- Support field operations by helping ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Valid British Columbia Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Commitment to following all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, and overtime as required.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and handheld Samsung devices.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (22 kg) regularly and up to 85 lbs (39 kg) occasionally.
- Ability to bend, kneel, squat, climb, pull, and perform physical labour throughout the day.
- Ability to travel to Vancouver Island when required.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Langley yard.
Compensation: $25.00 per hour
