Your Opportunity:
Working under the general direction of the Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor, the administrative assistant performs reception and patient appointment scheduling for the Diagnostic Imaging department. This position’s assigned work includes greeting patients, patient documentation, order entry, telephone coverage, electronic scheduling of patients, and assisting with the technical staff when required and will work closely with other areas within the Strathmore Hospital and across the zone. Responsible for working all shifts as assigned. The candidate should be able to help with patient transfer and portering as needed physically. This role also performs ECGs and Holter Monitors.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Current AHS Diagnostic Imaging Scheduling experience. Connect Care Trained. Medical terminology. Unit Clerk certification or Medical Office Assistant. Type 50 words/minute with accuracy. Able to perform ECGs and Holter Monitors.
