Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a <kitchen hand / cook> preferably Afghani, Pakistani or Indian food experience but not essential. This role involves providing exceptional food service, preparing meals, and ensuring food safety standards are maintained. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving others, a strong background in food handling, and experience working in restaurant or kitchen environments. Responsibilities
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and standards, including meal preparation and cooking
- Handle food safely by following proper hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Assist in food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas throughout shifts
- Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to prevent contamination
- Support team members during busy periods, ensuring smooth operation of the restaurant or food service area
- Adhere to all health department guidelines and company policies related to food handling
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environment preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the food industry
- Experience with meal preparation, food handling, and serving customers is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
