Summary
We’re looking for a sharp, steady, and people-powered Delivery Dispatch to help keep our cannabis delivery operation moving smoothly from screen to doorstep.
In this part-time remote role, working 1pm-9pm PT Friday and Saturday, you’ll support daily dispatch through Onfleet, coordinate driver coverage, monitor delivery performance, and help stores and drivers stay aligned in real time. You’ll be the calm in the middle of a fast-moving day — anticipating what’s needed, solving issues quickly, and helping us raise the bar for safe, compliant, customer-first delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day dispatching in Onfleet, including routing, order flow, and driver progress.
- Monitor delivery timelines, SLAs, success rates, coverage gaps, and route efficiency.
- Act as the main point of contact for drivers, stores, and internal teams during assigned shifts.
- Proactively identify delays, missed handoffs, routing issues, or coverage concerns — then help resolve them quickly.
- Support delivery compliance standards, including ID-check processes, manifests, documentation, and escalation procedures.
- Coordinate and confirm driver coverage for operational hours.
- Partner with the dispatch team to update schedules and communicate changes clearly.
- Monitor driver performance and flag coaching opportunities, concerns, or process gaps.
- Maintain accurate logs, shift notes, reporting, and documentation to support compliance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the Ecommerce Manager and Dispatch Lead on workflow improvements, staffing models, routing logic, and new delivery market launches.
Qualifications
- Experience in dispatch, logistics, delivery operations, ecommerce operations, customer service, or a similar fast-moving coordination role.
- Confidence using dispatch tools, POS/order systems, spreadsheets, dashboards, or digital operations platforms.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to stay calm, clear, and helpful under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail, especially around compliance, documentation, and timing.
- A proactive mindset — you notice what’s needed, own the outcome, and look for smarter ways to work.
- Comfort working remotely while staying highly connected to drivers, stores, and internal teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly when routes change, orders spike, drivers call out, or the day throws a curveball.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience using Onfleet or similar delivery/route management software.
- Cannabis retail, regulated retail, ecommerce, courier, food delivery, or last-mile logistics experience.
Pay: $19.50 per hour
