Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Glazier / Glass Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding and installing various glazing systems in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial projects. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and strong work ethic. Responsibilities
- Measure, and install glass panels, windows, and with precision using hand tools and specialized equipment
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, and sealing to ensure proper fit and finish
- Assist with framing, carpentry, and other related construction tasks as needed
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times during installation and handling of materials
- Maintain a clean work environment and properly handle all tools and materials
- Able to be professional, kind and honest with clients and staff
Qualifications
- Red Seal Glazier or Glazier Apprentice is desired!
- Proven experience with hand tools and construction practices
- Prior experience and knowledge in construction or glazing is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
- Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work at heights
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a vehicle is required
