Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated level One or Two Apprentice Electrician to join our team. As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work under the supervision of experienced electricians to learn and develop your skills in the electrical trade. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in pursuing a career in the electrical field and wants to gain hands-on experience. Holding a valid drivers license and clear background check is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete electrical tasks
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and industrial electrician work
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in the electrical trade
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced electricians
