Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Finishing Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for careful demolition and detailed finishing work on residential bathroom projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to project specifications. This role requires a strong background in carpentry And various finishing techniques. The Finishing Carpenter will play a vital role in delivering polished, professional results that meet client expectations. This is a support role to our teams.
Duties
- Install shower doors, trim, molding, and other woodwork with precision.
- Perform careful demolition of bathrooms and framing walls as required.
- Apply construction painting, caulking, and sealing techniques to ensure durable finishes
- Measure accurately for cuts and placements; perform heavy lifting when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Skills
- Extensive experience with carpentry, woodworking, and finishing techniques.
- Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, rebar installation, and roofing is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment safely.
- Experience in restoration work, cabinetry installation.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work in physically demanding environments.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
