Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and energetic Barback to support our bar team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will assist bartenders by maintaining a well-stocked bar, ensuring cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry, particularly within food service and guest relations.
Responsibilities
- Restock bar supplies including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and glassware to ensure smooth service.
- Assist bartenders with preparing ingredients for cocktails and drinks as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including cleaning glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Support in setting up and breaking down the bar before and after shifts.
- Handle basic food preparation tasks such as garnishing drinks or preparing simple snacks if required.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with guest services by providing prompt and friendly support when needed.
- Handle cash handling duties accurately during transactions.
- Support overall restaurant operations to create a welcoming environment for guests.
Skills
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen operations is a plus.
- Customer service skills that emphasize friendliness and professionalism.
- Basic cleaning skills to maintain hygiene standards in the bar area.
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
