JOB DESCRIPTION
Here at Chubby's Jamaican Kitchen we strive to surround ourselves with passionate people who love food and want to grow with a thriving and fun business. The right person for this role will be passionate about creating memorable experiences, strong communication and passionate about the restaurant industry. They will have hospitality in their blood and will always strive to maintain impeccable standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver warm, genuine hospitality from the moment guests arrive.
- Guide guests through our food, cocktail, and rum menus with confidence and enthusiasm.
- Create memorable dining experiences through attentive, knowledgeable service.
- Maintain a strong understanding of our menu, beverages, and daily features.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
- Serve food and beverages while following all food safety and Smart Serve standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized section and contribute to the overall energy of the restaurant.
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
- Valid Smart Serve Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stay calm, organized, and positive in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Appreciation for Caribbean culture is an asset—but a genuine desire to learn and embrace our hospitality is just as important.
