Position Overview
We are seeking a hardworking, reliable, and versatile team member to join our growing construction and property operations team. This role combines general labour and excavator/equipment operation responsibilities across residential, commercial, and construction projects.
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands on work, takes pride in maintaining high quality standards, and is comfortable operating equipment while assisting with day to day site operations.
Key Responsibilities
General Labour Duties
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and material handling
- Load and unload construction materials and equipment
- Support trades and site supervisors with daily construction activities
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environments
Excavator/Skidsteer Operator Duties
- Safely operate excavators and other small equipment
- Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and backfilling
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Ensure safe operation around workers, utilities, and structures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, property maintenance, or equipment operation preferred
- Experience operating excavators and small machinery considered a strong asset
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in physically demanding environments
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and procedures
Preferred Skills
- Experience with skid steer or other heavy equipment
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
- Experience in residential or commercial construction
- Strong communication and organizational skills

- Monday to Friday
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required depending on project schedules

- On site at various project locations throughout Niagara Region
Pay: $17.20-$40.00 per hour
