Friction Auto Parts Inc. is currently looking for a talented inside sales professional to take on an exciting and challenging full-time role of Auto Parts Counter Person at our location in London. Role and responsibilities:
· Delivering a high level of customer service.
· Interact, respond and follow up with customers on a daily basis, promptly responding to all inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner
· Sell a diversified line of products via phone and over-the-counter
· Processing customer orders through the computer system, ensuring accuracy and prompt delivery
· Utilizing the computer system to look up the correct parts for repairs.
· Ensuring customers parts orders are accurately filled and delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
· Effectively communicating product features, benefits and warranty policy information to customers.
· Demonstrate a positive, helpful attitude.
· Work effectively as part of the team.
· Adhering to company policies and procedures.
· Support the sales team through up selling, service, pricing, delivery and inventory inquiries
· Maintain a well-rounded knowledge of products sold
· Other related duties including but not limited to supporting the warehouse functions as required
· Invoice an average of 40-70 orders/day
· Assist warehouse staff with parts identification issues
· Work days Monday to Friday and every other Saturday
· NO SUNDAYS
Preferred Education & Qualifications:
· Background/knowledge of automotive aftermarket parts preferred
· 1 year of applicable experience in a similar inside sales role
· Exceptional customer service and communication skills
· A strong desire to achieve the very best in customer service and teamwork
· Ability to use various computer programs
· Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent verbal, written and effective listening skills
· Experience working under pressure and setting priorities
· Computer experience
