We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team in downtown Winnipeg. You will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks across a portfolio of apartment buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs in residential apartment units and common areas.
- Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliances.
- Drywall patching and painting as needed
- Complete work orders efficiently and to a high standard.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests as part of an on-call rotation.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience
- Skilled in various trades including painting, drywall, minor plumbing/electrical, carpentry etc
- Able to troubleshoot and problem-solve independently
- Own hand tools
- Clear criminal record check
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Pay/Benefits:
- $25 to $30/hour
