Job Title: Roof Truss Assembler / Saw Operator / General Laborer
Day Shift - Up to 5 shifts/week - 44 hour/week - Monday to Friday - 6:00am to 3:30pm.
Job Description
Cornwall Roof Truss is seeking multiple positions. We are in need of Roof Truss Assemblers, Saw Operators and General Laborers for both of our shifts. A successful candidate will work in the assembly shop with the goal of fabricating wooden roof truss with other team members.
Tasks include but are not limited to
· Handling wood pieces to assemble roof truss.
· Cutting lumber on a computer automated saw.
· Assemble roof truss on a laser projected assembly table.
· Assemble floor joist and other components as needed.
· Pick connector plates for roof truss.
· Daily cleanup of work area.
· Other general labor tasks.
· Aid with any tasks required to complete projects in a safe and timely manner.
Skills/Qualifications
Required
- Basic Computer Skills.
- Ability to read a measuring tape.
- Able to handle wood (lumber) with ease.
- Able to occasionally lift up to a 60 lbs box.
- Reliable and Punctual
Preferred
- Truss building experience.
- Forklift Experience.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Availability to start working on the day shift for training.
