Position Overview
The Fern Group Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler to join our warehouse operations team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of forklift operating experience and demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience operating Crown forklifts is considered an asset.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Benefits: Benefits package available following successful completion of a 3-month probationary period
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials and products
- Label, sort, and prepare incoming and outgoing shipments
- Safely relocate inventory within the warehouse or production facility
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Maintain accurate tracking of inventory movements
- Support overall warehouse efficiency and workflow
Qualifications & Skills
- Valid forklift license with a minimum of one year of operating experience
- Prior experience in a warehouse or factory environment
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail

- Dock stocker
- Deep reach
- Order picker
- Sit-down propane forklift
- Ride-on walkie
- General warehouse operations experience
