Position Overview: Armour Transportation is seeking a dedicated
Dispatcher to join our team for night shifts. As a Dispatcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth movement of equipment and freight while maintaining clear communication with drivers and internal teams.
Location: Dartmouth, NS
Schedule: 7:00pm - 7:00am
Shift: Nights | 4on 4off
Key Responsibilities:-
Collaborate with departments, terminals, and customers to eliminate barriers in the movement of equipment and freight.

Communicate effectively with drivers, ensuring they have the necessary paperwork and information to complete their tasks successfully.

Support internal teams by addressing special circumstances and ensuring planning and revenue considerations are accounted for.

Additional terminal specific duties as required.

Key Skills:-
Familiarity with dispatching software (Truck Mate) systems is an asset.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to create reports using Word and Excel.

Strong typing and computer skills.
