We are looking for a Manager, HSE and Integrations to be responsible for integrating newly acquired companies into TC Transcontinental’s Canadian network. Their primary mandate is to bring sites of varying maturity up to the Corporation’s HSE standards, by deploying corporate programs and supporting local teams throughout the harmonization process.
This role is performed with a high degree of autonomy: the incumbent has significant decision-making latitude to deliver the expected HSE performance results across our plants.
Responsibilities:

Lead the HSE integration of new acquisitions, ensuring the full transition of sites to TC Transcontinental’s corporate standards.

Assess the HSE maturity of newly acquired sites and establish concrete, measurable action plans to address identified gaps.

Deploy corporate HSE programs, adapting them to the realities and specific needs of each site.

Contribute to due diligence activities during acquisition projects, in support of the head office which leads these efforts.

Conduct rigorous risk assessments and identify intervention priorities.

Plan and conduct HSE audits and inspections at integrating sites, monitor corrective action plans and measure the effectiveness of interventions.

Support plant management and local teams in delivering training and developing HSE competencies.

Collaborate closely with operations teams, human resources and corporate functions to ensure consistency of practices.
Qualifications:
When your expertise drives us:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (industrial relations, occupational health and safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related discipline).

6 to 10 years of HSE experience, including significant experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Bilingualism in French and English (spoken and written) is essential, in order to collaborate with stakeholders across Canada.

Availability for frequent travel during post-acquisition integration phases.
Assets

Experience managing integration projects, particularly in a mergers and acquisitions context.

Recognized professional certification (CRSP or equivalent).
